Vitamin D manufacturer to sue Finnish University

17 December 2012

A vitamin D manufacturer is planning to sue the University of Eastern Finland over their recent study that falsely claimed many large supplement brands do not contain the vitamin D quantities they advertize.

Since the University published their report in October, two follow-up studies have reported sufficient nutrient content of the supplement brands in question.

The University has denied liability for the mistake and has promised to provide further details by January 15th. They refused to comment on the matter.
