Dr. Welsh is a professor at the University at Albany Cancer Research Center and has received several externally funded grants for her research efforts. Most recently, Dr. Welsh and her team received a $1.76 million 5-year grant from the National Institute in order to further their investigation on the mechanism behind vitamin D on triple negative breast cancer.
