If you mean why is there not a category under “Health Conditions”? I do know that it takes both time and money to produce one. The Vitamin D Council relies on donations and memberships to operate and must prioritize what they do.
You can get to and read https://www.vitamindcouncil.org/blog/vitamin-d-status-and-autoimmunity-in-celiac-disease/ without a membership. You can also read this one even though it says IBS https://www.vitamindcouncil.org/blog/does-vitamin-d-deficiency-contribute-to-inflammatory-bowel-disease/ but if you scroll down to the first blog comment by hlahore, you might find it helpful!
It is felt that celiac is probably autoimmune and therefore can be traced back to lack of Vitamin D. The evidence, I feel, is very overwhelming that anything autoimmune is Vitamin D related.
Thank you for answering my questions so quickly. I’m definitely going to take your advice. I thought of one more question….can I open the capsules and add it to drinks, food, etc.?
