Since vitamin d is so stable can i "fortify" my own food. Specifically if i can't get my kids to take the drops because of the taste, then can i put the drops in foods. I actually bought vitamin d in MCT oil (olive oil). They like olive oil in food but not alone. I considered the following: making the scrambled eggs and when mixing the eggs, put 6 drops of 400 IU into a mix of four eggs (for two kids). Is this effective way of getting more vitamin d into my kid's diet? can i put the vitamin d elsewhere in prepared foods since it is heat stable? Thanks in advance!
