My history is not here so I don't know if you would remember me or not. Got results of the test taken few weeks and came as 86ng/ml. Since then I have been taking high dose of 20,000 to 30,000 IU per day. I do wonder what the level would be now. Should I reduce the vitamin d to 10,000 IU.

Sorry Praket they had a computer “glitch” when they changed to the new website! I remember quite a bit about you but maybe not everything we discussed.
I remember that you felt better taking a higher amount of Vitamin D, so I told you to keep taking that for at least a while. Keep this in mind, anytime you change amounts of Vitamin D you take, you should stay on that amount for 8 weeks minimum to get a good reading. From what I remember you have been on that amount for at least 8 but correct me if I am wrong. It is important because if you have been for at least 8 weeks, that amount is NOT putting you over the upper limit of the range which is 100ng/ml. Meaning if this corrects your symptoms then you may just want to stay there. (Much better for you if it helps you avoid further or any medicines.)
So this is my suggestion. I would not drop all the way to 10,000iu yet. If you think the average amount you have been taking is closer to 20,000iu, then try dropping to 15,000iu and hold there for 8 weeks. If you start feeling bad then go back up and try the 20,000iu. If that works, then maybe that is where you should stay. The other alternative would be that you may need an amount between 15,000 and 20,000iu. There may also be other reasons why you need to take more than other people
You certainly can ask more questions but before I possible lose contact with you, I would appreciate if you can update me how things end up for you. From what I remember you were taking an antidepressant and had anxiety. If there were more symptoms, I do not remember them.

Hi IAW, You have a good memory and you are right in what you said. Also I took the vitamin-d about 18 hours before the test so that might have also kicked the levels high in test results.
Vitamin-d does help me to relieve the sysmptoms of anxiety. Higher the dose the better i feel. I don’t want to get the symptoms of hypercalacmia.
In between, the vitamin b12 came as 466 as compare to 386 last time. For some reason the b12 is not going high and vitamin-d is ……..
