My concern is the high level of Vit D you recommend. The IOM (Institute of Medicine) did an exhaustive study and their conclusion was anything above 30ng/mL shows no additional benefit and there are concerns above 50ng/mL and your recommendation is right at that cut level. Their 1130 page study basically says there is no good study that has been done but they are looking at all the studies that have been done and based on that gave their recommendations.
