In the oct 19th issue of Mercola.com an interview with Dr Stephanie Seneff about cholesterol sulfate and vitamin d production on the skin from sunlight.
She says that this is the only effective vitamin d is from sunlight. She is against using high-dose oral vitamin d supplements, because doing so might fool your body into thinking the sulfate system is working when in reality it's not. She says that taking high-dose vitamin d supplements will not have the identical effect, as it does not allow your body to make sulfate which is essential for vitamin d to work properly. Dr. Mercola even says that he has not swallowed any oral vitamin d for 5 years. If this is true then why are we all taking oral supplements of vitamin d3. Please respond.
