I'm up in Canada and have been supplementing with 4000iu a day in the winter to fight off SAD. This has led to a really painful rash on my hand and forced me to stop all supplements. Without the option of a lamp or natural sunlight is there anything else I could do to increase my vitamin D drastically? I'm currently eating more fish to try to help but it's not having much effect.

    What makes you think the rash on one hand or both hands has to do with the supplements?
    The only other options to raise your levels are natural sunlight and/or sunlamp.
