Hello, I was diagnosed with vitamin d deficiency 1 month ago and immediately began 5000 iu per day with magnesium and a multivitamin. My symptoms were/are fatigue, depression, muscle weakness, foggy brain, anxiety, and insomnia. I still suffer from most of these symptoms and I'm just curious as to if there's anything I can do to accelerate the process. If not, how long does this typically take to start seeing improvements? Oh I forgot to mention my levels were at 14 ng/ml

It is safe to take 10,000iu a day. The 5000iu is based on an average person weighing 150lbs. So you could do that for a month and then retest. I would do this to make sure your levels are or did increase. If you still have symptoms after another month I would write back and say which ones went away and which one’s you still have.
