Researchers recommend vitamin D guidelines in order to decrease the risk of pregnancy complications in Europe

A recent study conducted by researchers at University College Cork determined that higher vitamin D status was associated with a lower risk of birth complications, such as preeclampsia and low birth weight, and that guidelines for pregnant women are needed in order to decrease the risk of complications in Europe.
