DL in case I have not already said this, I am not a doctor. Maybe I can guess. I think she is wondering why your levels are not increasing. I have no idea if they can request a lab look for high amounts in your urine which would mean you are not absorbing it. You are correct that normally it would not be found in your urine. If it is passing right through you with little absorbed then maybe it does show up there. If there is protein found then your kidneys are not doing what they should be and again might cause an absorption issue. (I wouldn’t worry about the test and I think the oral spray will work.)
Now you could approach this differently, if you want to. You could go back to the doctor and say that you found out through our organization that if someone has IBS issues that an oral spray usually absorbs better. So then with her permission you would like to try the oral spray (I would assume you will have to pay for it) and do “three” sprays a day for a total of 9000iu a day and for the same number of weeks.
If you stick to the original plan I gave you the other day and it works, then you should really tell her afterwards what you did so she understands the benefit of an oral spray.
