Vitamin D Council

San Luis Obispo, CA – The Vitamin D Council, a 501(c)(3) educational corporation, launched a blog today. The blog will provide insights and briefings on the latest research and findings on vitamin D. Featured writers include activist and Executive Director of the Vitamin D Council, Dr. John Cannell, as well as vitamin D epidemiologist and founder of the nonprofit SUNARC, Dr. William Grant.

“The blog will be a unique community and forum for people interested in up-to-date research on vitamin D,” says Dr. Cannell. In years past, Dr. Cannell would share his writings on vitamin D via an email newsletter. The blog will allow Dr. Cannell and future authors an easier, more-efficient method to disseminate writings on vitamin D compared to the old newsletter. The Vitamin D Council hopes to add more writers in the future.  

Dr. Cannell formed the Vitamin D Council in 2003 to take on the vitamin D deficiency epidemic. The blog can be found at http://blog.vitamindcouncil.org/.
