A study comprised of 502,664 men and women found no relationship between the use of calcium supplements and hospital admissions related to cardiovascular events. These results were similar for vitamin D and combination supplementation. These findings confirm that vitamin D and calcium supplementation do not increase the risk for cardiovascular events.

Science Daily recently covered the study in an article. Click here to read it.

This research does not appear to have been published anywhere. Until we know the dosages for calcium and vit D it seems to be of limited value.

How much Vit D and how much calcium.
