For the first time ever, India will be hosting an International Conference, titled Recent Advances in Food Fortification with Emphasis on Vitamin D Deficiency in Human Health. The government of India and Hamdard University will be sponsoring this event.
About the Conference
The focus will be on the role of vitamin D deficiency and nutrition in human health, along with the classical and non-classical roles of vitamin D in regards to allergic diseases, diabetes, cardiovascular disease and vitamin D toxicity. This conference will also highlight the importance of nutrition in a wide range of settings, including pediatrics, sports, clinical care and public health.
Several vitamin D experts from all over the world will be joining the conference as keynote and session speakers, including Prof. Michael Holick, USA, Prof Afrozul Haq, India, Prof. Carsten Carlberg, Finland, Prof. Nasser Al-Daghri, Saudi Arabia, Prof. Mohammed S. Razzaque, USA, Prof. V.K.Jha, India, Dr. Suhail Rasool, USA and Dr. Nighat Y. Sofi, India.
