This year, we’re celebrating our 15th year of bringing sun exposure and vitamin D education to the general public to improve the quality and longevity of our lives. We’re proud to be celebrating our 15th year serving the community, and we’re looking forward to many more ahead – because there’s still plenty to be learned. And since most people are deficient in vitamin D, we must continue doing all we can to fully understand the effects of vitamin D on health.

Due to the constant stream of new research it can make it hard to keep up. And much like other topics areas that are constantly being researched, some of the evidence and findings can be controversial. This makes it even more important to really dig through all the research and uncover exactly what we can infer from various studies. Then we’re able to package all that information up and use it to help educate health professionals, researchers and the general public on the effects and benefits of vitamin D, best practices for being out in the sun and offer supplement recommendations based off the best available research.

The past 15 years here at the Vitamin D Council have been phenomenal; to learn about our history and accomplishments over the last 15 years, click here. In order to ensure the next 15 years are even more successful in improving the quality and longevity of lives, we’d like to give you a few ideas as to how you can get involved to support the Vitamin D Council.

Membership

You can become a Vitamin D Council member to support the Vitamin D Council,, receive unrestricted access to all our articles and get exclusive discounts on our test kits and the newly available BioTech vitamin D. Plus, the membership fees are tax deductible, so you get that nice little bonus as well. There’s membership plans for a month, a year, or a lifetime.

Donate

Of course, you can make a donation at any time, which is also tax deductible since we’re a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. No matter how big or small your contribution is, it’s still going towards a worthy cause – that’s something you can feel good about.

Volunteer

The Vitamin D Council is always looking for volunteers to support their organization. Interested in donating a little bit of your time instead of your money? Get in touch with the Vitamin D Council to inquire about volunteer opportunities and learn how you can get involved – hands on!

Fundraise

If you want to make a bigger financial impact than you’d be able to on your own, you can start a fundraiser of your own through a third-party donation site: First Giving and Causes. You could also organize a simple fundraiser in your local community, like a bottle drive or car wash. If you wanted to get a little more fun with it, you could even work with a local golf course to host a charity golf tournament. There’s a ton of different ways to fundraise – and with all the online fundraiser planning tools available to us, it’s never been easier to contribute to a good cause.

We’re extremely grateful to have had your support for the past 15 years, and we’re looking forward to many more!

Sincerely,

The Vitamin D Council team
