What is the Council's stance on the balance between vitamin K2 and D3? Should we be concerned about off setting this balance if we only take D3?

The synergistic relationship between vitamin D and vitamin K

Just like any other vitamin or mineral, the human body needs K to function correctly. So if you do not have very good dietary habits, then you better supplement.

That link didn’t address whether or not high doses of Vitamin D3 (such as 10,000 IU) require more K2 than people getting lower doses of D

In the original question, it did not ask about the differences in taking low or higher amounts of Vitamin D and Vitamin K.
There are no scientific studies that show you need increasing amounts of K, with higher amounts of D. The National Academy of Sciences has set Adequate Intake (AI) levels for vitamin K, and that is what the Vitamin D Council follows.
