The medical community seems to prefer prescribing a high weekly dosage such as a single 50,000 IU tablet once a week as opposed to a lower daily dosage. How safe is this approach to inject the body with a high dose all at once? Can the body utilize it very well with a high weekly dosage. This approach seems to defy logic and the log standing RDA (recommended daily allowance) approach. Any insight from you would be helpful
