Im a male in my late 30s and my viramin D levels are 21.0 ng/ml. How much of a vitamin D supplement should I take and how often? Thanks

    Most people of average height and weight need 5000 iu per day to reach a blood level of 50 ng/ml which is what we recommend here at the Vitamin D Council. Some people may need more than 5000 iu a day and the safe upper limit is 10,000 iu per day. (I will assume you have no major health issues or I might recommend taking more.)
