I read an article on here from 2011 stating that it doesn't make a difference if you take vitamin D supplements with or without food but I read articles on several other sites, including one dated in 2014 on Web MD, stating that absorption is increased by taking with food. Can you clear this up for me? Thanks.

    I believe the consensus now is it is best to take it with a meal or snack that contains at least a little bit of fat. I take mine with breakfast.
