hi, i am suffering from low testosterone levels, my T-levels used to be 200ng/ml, after taking vit-d 600000 i.u. my t-level raised to 400ng/ml, and my life changed, since last 2 yrs i have been taking 6 lacs i.u of vit-d3 every 3 months and getting my vit-d levels checked every 3 months also, it always comes between 30-40 ng/ml, am i doing the right way, i feel extremely low and sexaully weak if i dont take vit-d

    So 600,000iu / 90 days (3 months) = 6700 iu a day. This gives you a blood level of 30 – 40 ng/ml. This is not too bad but we like to promote a blood level of at least 50ng/ml. The other thing that is better is to take the Vitamin D on a “daily” basis if possible because it is so much better for you that way. So I would increase the amount to 8oooiu and take that per day. If you cannot take it daily, then at least once a week would be much better for you and that would equal 56,000iu per week. (It is quite safe to take up to 10,000iu a day!)
