Hello, is it known how much Vitamin D the body uses daily to keep the body in shape, how much wastes to keep the performance of all its functions? Can it be read in any study? Thank you.

    The only thing we know at the moment, through research, is that it is best to keep your Vitamin D blood levels at around 50ng/ml (125nmol/l) or slightly above. In order to do this you need to take about 5000iu of Vitamin D a day or get enough sun exposure which for many is hard to do. (If you are an athlete and train really hard, you may need more than the 5000 iu per day.)
