Dr. Robyn Balden is a physician scientist based out of the Texas Medical Center in Houston, TX. Her work as an Associate Director, Medical Science Liaison for Merck & Co., Inc. is focused on the Surgery/Anesthesia therapeutic areas and extends across the central United States including TX, OK, KS, NE, ND, and SD. Formerly Dr. Balden conducted medical research for clinical trials at the Texas Center for Drug Development, trained as a resident anesthesiologist and clinical scholar at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA, and performed multi-disciplinary biomedical research at the cross-roads of neuroscience, immunology, and endocrinology at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine in College Station, TX. Her passion involves vitamin D and neuroinflammation, neuroimmunology and neuroendocrinology.
