A recent study published in The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism found that higher vitamin D levels may help improve markers of fertility.

Natural conception rate is known to be greatly affected by seasonal changes, with high conception rates occurring in the summer and low conception rates occurring in the winter.

Vitamin D status is also affected by the seasons. Researchers are therefore interested in how vitamin D may affect fertility and pregnancy rates.
