I purchased 2 vitamin D tests 12/2014. I haven't sent in the test yet. Is it out of date? Or can we still do the test?

    The spot cards have a general shelf-life of about 3 years.

    If you plan to keep your test kits long-term, you will want to keep in mind that the spot card can become unusable if exposed to soil, heat or contamination (oils, dirt, etc.s).

    It is important that you keep the flap tucked in on the spot card to protect the filter paper, and that the spot card (and entire kit) is kept in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
