This is what I understand. Please correct me if I am wrong.
She took 50,000 iu every day for 60 days. Then she did not feel well. She stopped taking any for a week and then got tested and her level was 135.9ng/ml. Then she waited another week and tested again and got 96.7. I do not understand what she did after that last test. Has she been taking any Vitamin D or absolutely none? If she has not taken any “How many days from today has she not taken any?”
I really do not think she did any damage. We know a level of 150ng/ml is safe but do not encourage most people to go to that level. (If I remember correctly there was a pregnant woman in an indigenous tribe that had a level of 150ng/ml from just sunshine.) The upper end of the range is 100ng/ml in the USA.
What I do worry about is if she is not taking any now and how long she has not taken any for. Levels can drop by half every two weeks. We recommend that pregnant women take anywhere from 6000-10,000iu a day. The 1000iu a day they are suggesting will not be enough and the risk to the baby and mother having complications increases. If she does not take at least 6000iu there will be NO Vitamin D in her breast milk if she plans on breastfeeding. You would then have to make sure the baby gets a Vitamin D supplement after it is born so it does not develop rickets.Answered by IAW on October 15, 2016 at 3:37 pm

tnx for your answer and you understand correct, she is in 19th week of pregnancy now, and from around two weeks ago didn’t eat any vitamins(d,b,a, …).
at last test at 13/10/2016 the redult was:
vitamin d:96.7, calcium:8.9
but one things that we are very wory about it is the amount of vitamin d in her blood two weeks ago, becuase according to your text it was double(96.7×2=193.4) so it was so much.
i want to know the baby healthy or not?
do we check any things for suring about baby health?
did we damage heart, brain, … of baby with 50000 iu/d for 60 weeks or not?Answered by ehsan.you67661000 on October 15, 2016 at 9:26 pm

I am not a doctor or scientist just so you understand that. With all the knowledge I have learned through this website, I highly doubt she did any damage. I would assume there is some kind of vitamin d regulation between mother and baby or else it would not make sense to me. Just because she had a high level, does not mean the baby did.
If her last test was on October 13 2016 and her level was 96.7, I would wait a week or two from that date and then she should start the Vitamin D again at 6000iu a day. Again there is way too much information and studies that have been done that prove without the Vitamin D, the mother can have health issues and the baby could develop autism without it.
What did her doctor say?Answered by IAW on October 16, 2016 at 6:14 am
